The Trauma Healing Parent - Parent Group | Facebook
Children caught in the midst of a high-conflict divorce and coercive parenting often endure trauma.
AJ facilitates group programs for parents, providing guidance on how to protect and empower their children amidst the challenges of high-conflict divorce and coercive parenting. Inspired by influential figures like Dr. Gordon Neufeld, Dr. Gabor Mate, Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk, Dr. Dan Seigel, Dr. John Bowlby, Dr. Mary Ainsworth, and Dr. Bruce Perry, AJ's approach is grounded in neurobiological development, childhood trauma research, developmental psychology, and attachment theory, with a strong commitment to being trauma-informed.
Additionally, AJ aims to support children, raise awareness, and advocate for systemic change and conducts professional development workshops for professionals in the domestic violence, family law, children's mental health, and child protection fields to enhance their understanding of the long-term effects of trauma and how to better support affected children.
